Southern Living Editor Shares Favorite Tips and Recipes at Riverbanks
What:               Learn the trade secrets of vegetable gardening from Rebecca Bull Reed, associate garden editor for Southern Living, when she presents at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden on Thursday, April 9.

Reed will take you on a tour of her favorite edible gardens of the South, provide pointers on everything from small herb gardens to vegetable gardens equipped to feed the entire family and even whip up a few recipes for guests to sample.

The March 2009 issue of Southern Living, on newsstands now, features an article by Reed titled “Raise Your Own Veggies.” She states that anyone who has experienced the “plot-to-pan freshness” will not deny that there is nothing better.
