Group Visits
Schools, churches, clubs and other organizations may be entitled to discounted admission rates and special services. To qualify as a "group" at Riverbanks, a party of 15 or more must be registered at least two weeks in advance and must arrive together.

Admission rates include entry to both the Zoo and the Botanical Garden. Pets, food, beverages and coolers are not allowed in the park.
Group rates are not available for Boo at the Zoo or Lights Before Christmas, and group registration is not required for these after-hours events.

| Upon arrival, please have an exact count of the number of children and adults in your group. The total admission fee due for your group must be presented to the ticket booth by one person in your organization in as large a denomination as possible. If you plan to leave the Zoo during your visit, please depart as a group and return as a group by showing your ticket stub. Individuals from your group will not be allowed back in to the park without a ticket. |

Riverbanks offers a variety of “Jungle Meals” especially designed for school groups and other young explorer groups looking for an organized, on-site lunch option.
Available during weekdays only, Jungle Meals are served at Safari Camp in the heart of the Zoo. Your group will have a reserved space under this covered pavilion, equipped with picnic tables and plenty of shade. If you are participating in an Education Center Program, please schedule your meal delivery time at least 20 minutes after the end of your program.

Birthday Parties: Riverbanks does not currently offer birthday party packages for children. Riverbanks does offer discount admission tickets for pre-registered groups of 15 or more, and 10-packs of Safari Bucks, which can be used for interactive activities such as Carousel rides, giraffe feeding and 3D Theater features, are available for a discount at the front gate. Additionally, there is a public picnic area adjacent to the main Zoo entrance where groups can gather for picnics and presents. Due to limited storage space and Riverbanks' exclusive catering contract with ARAMARK, cake, ice cream and other outside food and beverages are not allowed through the gates or in the park. The smallest meeting space available is 3,000 square feet (capacity - 100) and rents for $500 a day. |
